Recap of The Buffalo Central Terminal Para-Horror Conference

Good morning everyone! Sorry the irregular schedule of blogs the past few days. I have been on a madcap trip to Buffalo since Wednesday afternoon and am still not back in Ohio, however I am going to take the time to tell you about this weekend's paranormal conference at an amazing location.  http://www.beyondghosts.com/paracon.shtml

First off, I want to thank Beyond Ghosts for having the United Paranormal Project to their event. They did an outstanding job for their first conference and there were really great people to hang out, investigate, and con with. The conference was packed with interesting paranormal people, great paranormal groups, zombies, scream queens, and guest speakers.

There were TWO Micheal Myer's on hand, Tyler Mane who is absolutely huge, a great guy, histerical to ghost hunt with, and one of the original Michael Myers, and James Winburn, profesional stuntman and old school tough guy.

Lloyd Kaufman who is President & Co-Founder of Troma Entertainment, American film Director, Producer, Actor, and Documentarian who brought a great amount of Troma movies and other assorted horror wierdness to the con. He also had movie screenings/showing back in the baggage claim area.

Several beautiful ladies of horror were in attendance, including Melantha Blackthorne a director, actress, and co-owner of Robomonkey Productions, Suzi Lorraine, actor, writer and model, Angelina Leigh, and Kelly Welsted, aka Kelvis and Melyssa Jade.

Now onto the paranormal guests, I know I am not going to get everyone I met and liked in here but I am going to do my best...

Brian Cano and his partner Chris Manco of Scared and seen on the Haunted Collector are great guys with a love for the paranormal and for urban exploration. They were funny people with some great stories and I loved talking hauntings and abandonments with them. We exchanged a few locations and hopefully they will be making a trip up to Ohio someday to see a few places.

Jane Riley of Ghost Academy was there with Rosalyn Bown from the second season of the show. they were both nice and spoke to us about ghost hunting cemetery phototgraphy and personal experiences and why we all got involved in the paranormal field. I like Rosalyn myself I thought her ansers were clearer and she seemed to have it together. She also managed to survive one of Eric's ribald stories at the conference which I hope hasn't totally scarred her mind. I got her laughing doing a count of the four mysterious questions you ask yourself while listening to Eric's stories : ) I hope we havent scarred her too bad.

John Sabol the para-archaeologist was there being his own intense self. He is a man who is driven and intelligent and who sometimes does not play well with others. During the conference investigation he and Stacey Jones, the ghost cop, had a couple run-ins wich led up to a screaming match going accros the whole terminal with some serious words and John washing his hands of the investigation and leaving. Definitely something you try to avoid happening. Otherwise Stacey Jones and John Sabol had both delivered excellent presentations for the conference during the day.

Adam Kimmell, Jordan Murphy, Daniel Hooven of Resident Undead had a good presentation too. I wished I had managed to talk to everyone but invariably you can't be everywhere even with all day to do it. There were also several paranormal groups with tables I stoped to talk to but I am being called away from the laptop to go on one more adventure on this Buffalo trip so I will have to split this into a two-parter to cover them tomorow.
